A little about myself:

I am from Pickerington, Ohio. I am 21 years old. I chose to attend the University Of Georgia to be on the Women's Varsity Equestrian team.

As you can tell I have a bad habit! It is horses. I have been riding since I was 7 years old. I gave up dance lessons in order to take riding lessons. Little did my parents know they had just entered the "black hole of horses". I started out with a $300 pony named Blaze. That didn't last long because my step dad decided he wanted to to ride as well, so we needed a horse. My first horse was Thunder. Thunder was a good horse, but he wasn't a registered quarter horse, so I couldn't show him at quarter horse shows(this is what my trainer did).

My first show horse was Annie Has It. I showed Annie for a little while but then decided I wanted a horse that was a little more competitive. Next was Favor Time. I only had Favor for about a year, then I had the oppertunity to buy Skips Final Page. Page is the horse I owned for the longest. I showed her for a few years in all-around events, then I decided that I wanted to do reining. My mom told me that I had to use Page to do reining before she would buy me a real reaining horse. My first reining horse, Bayberry Freckles (Ziggy) was four when i bought him. I showed him for about 3 years. Then there was Ima Talk About, Chip. Chip is the horse I have had the most success with. I qualified to go to the AQHYA world show with him several times, placing 11th one year. He also helped me win the All American Quarter Horse Congress in 2000 in the NRHA 14-18 class. The time came for Chip to go and he was replaced with Boot Jacs Candy or Candy. Candy is the horse I finished my youth career with and now she stands at home and has babies.
